Batya, the St. Bernard has Personality Plus +++++

Batya is a 4-5 year old purebred female St. Bernard. She is coming to us from TUAPA, the non-profit shelter in Taiwan. The volunteers at TUAPA told us that Batya didn't stand a chance of getting adopted as she isn't all that friendly with other doggies. Because she isn't friendly, she can't be outside all that often so she is couped up in a tiny cage most days. She also has a slight jaw deformity that causes her tongue to hang out of her mouth all of the time. In Taiwan, this makes her highly unadoptable. Here in San Diego, we think its adorable and adds to her personality!

Batya is sweet and affectionate with people of all ages. She is very thin right now so when she arrives in San Diego, we will work hard to put some meat on those skinny bones of hers!

If you are interested in adopting Batya, please contact The Collared Scholar at 619-916-8710. Batya is in good health, fully vaccinated and will be spayed upon adoption.
Here are her stats:

Sex: Female
Age: 4-5 Years Old
Good with Dogs: NO
Good with Kids: YES
Good with Cats: Unknown

Batya will be staying at The Collared Scholar and will receive a training makeover. She will be crate trained, housebroken and we will work to minimize her other dog aggression. Upon adoption, she will have access to free lifetime training at The Collared Scholar.

HERE is a video of Batya playing at the shelter in Taiwan.
